Our workshop helping to kick off the 2026 Santa Fe International Literary Festival was a smashing success!

Sincere thanks to the Festival for having us, to our collaborators at the Santa Fe Public Library, Vital Spaces Unhoused Art, Poets Laureate Jake Skeets, Logan Phillips, and “Whiskey Tender” Author Deborah Jackson Taffa and all the people who packed the Main Branch Library Community Room.

From directors to volunteers, the staff of the festival could not have been more welcoming to and inclusive of the writers at The Voice Project through a very generous contribution of comp. tickets, and with great care given and kind attention paid to the folks we serve.

In partnership with Vital Spaces Unhoused Art, Swan Quill West will be facilitating a series of monologue-writing workshops for unhoused and formerly unhoused people in Santa Fe. After a summer of writing, these monologues will be compiled & performed at Vital Spaces in the Fall.

The Voice Project continues! A Summer Session, beginning June 18th and running through July 23rd, will be open to unhoused writers in Santa Fe—2:00pm-4:00pm, Thursdays at the Friendship Club.
